Here, Steca’s latest algorithms are employed, resulting in optimal battery maintenance. The Solarix PRS charge controllers are equipped with an electronic fuse, thus making optimal protection possible. They operate on the serial principle, and separate the solar module from the battery in order to protect it against overcharging.
For larger projects, the charge controllers can also be equipped with special functions: e.g. with night light function and selectable charging plateau and deep-discharge protection voltages.

Tristar 45A Diversion Charge Controller required to manage the efficient charging of batteries.
Used in conjunction with a Dump Load, this controller utilises high speed Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) based charging programmes to achieve an optimum charging process that prolongs the battery life span and ensures maximum battery efficiency. PWM also allows progressive diversion of energy to the dump load, rather than an on-off-on system.
The tristar charge controller unit is fully protected against reverse polarity, short circuit, overcurrent, high temperature and overvoltage.
